VDUNY Objectives

Objectives as listed in the club By-Laws:

1. To provide a forum for the computer programmer community to their mutual benefit and increased understanding of visual development processes, development tools, and related products.
2. To provide the opportunity to exchange ideas, knowledge and experience for the enrichment for all concerned.
3. To provide the opportunity for both formal and informal education in computer applications, hardware and software technologies.
4. To provide a medium of communications with user groups in other areas.
5. To provide an opportunity for the formation of special interest groups.
6. To provide a medium for the exchange of public domain and contributed software. The illegal copying, use or distribution of software will not be condoned.
7. To assist members and others in acquiring computer hardware, software, literature and other training material.
